Fulneck School is a prestigious educational institution located in Fulneck, a village near Pudsey in West Yorkshire, England. The school has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1753 by the Moravian Church. It is known for its strong academic curriculum, excellent pastoral care, and diverse extracurricular activities.

Fulneck School offers education for students aged 3 to 18, providing a seamless educational journey from early years through to A-levels. The school is divided into three sections: the Pre-Prep School (ages 3-7), the Prep School (ages 7-11), and the Senior School (ages 11-18). This structure ensures that students receive age-appropriate education and support at each stage of their development. Fulneck welcomes new students at any age to the school and offers a home-from-home environment for international and domestic boarders.

The school’s location in the picturesque village of Fulneck adds to its charm. The campus is set in beautiful surroundings, offering a peaceful and conducive environment for learning. The school’s proximity to Pudsey and the wider West Yorkshire area provides students with access to a range of cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities.

The campaign

After implementing our marketing strategies, Fulneck School saw significant improvements in their international boarding numbers as well as increased interest from domestic boarders. The combination of an international Search campaign and targeted LinkedIn advertisements proved to be effective in reaching potential international students from specific countries.

Through the Search campaign, we were able to increase the visibility of Fulneck School in search engine results, making it easier for prospective students and their families to find information about the school. This led to an increase in website traffic and inquiries from international students.

LinkedIn proved to be a valuable platform for targeting specific countries and connecting with individuals who were interested in studying abroad. By creating targeted advertisements and engaging with relevant LinkedIn groups and communities, we were able to generate interest and enquiries from potential international boarders.

To reach the domestic audience, we utilized Facebook Advertising. By creating engaging and informative advertisements, we were able to capture the attention of local families and generate interest in Fulneck School. This resulted in an increase in inquiries and applications from domestic boarders.

To ensure the authenticity of our marketing efforts, we conducted video interviews with the principal teaching staff, boarders, and day students at Fulneck School. These interviews provided valuable insights into the experiences of living and studying at the school, which we used to create compelling content for our marketing campaigns. By showcasing the positive experiences and testimonials from current students and staff, we were able to build trust and credibility with potential boarders.

Overall, our marketing strategies successfully promoted Fulneck School to both international and domestic boarders. The combination of targeted online campaigns, authentic testimonials, and engaging content resulted in increased inquiries and applications, helping Fulneck School recover from the negative impact of the pandemic on their international boarding numbers.

Results

The marketing campaign resulted in an impressive return on investment (ROI) of £13 for every pound spent. This means that for every pound invested in the marketing campaign, the school generated £13 in revenue.

The high ROI indicates that the marketing strategies implemented were highly effective in promoting the school and driving conversion and enrolments. Total student numbers have grown by 7% (Sept 22 – June 23) and Boarders by 33% (Sept 22 – June 23).

The success of the marketing campaign can be attributed to several factors. Firstly, the targeting of the campaign was likely well-executed, reaching the right audience and capturing their attention.
